MANAGEMENT OF SINUS MEMBRANE PERFORATION BY SUTURING

Management of sinus membrane perforation by suturing and resorbable membrane application. The perforation was determined by the presence of a septum in the mesial aspect of the sinus cavity. The aim of suturing the membrane before the collagen membrane application is to reduce the dimension of the perforation so to reduce the risk of membrane invagination into the sinus cavity.
