“Road to Nowhere” is the latest release from the alt-metal band Foregone. This song was inspired by a Summer Vacation by drummer Devin. While exploring Bryson City NC, he stumbled upon an abandoned road named “Road to Nowhere.” The road and tunnel was deemed too expensive to complete so it was left incomplete. This is a subtle reference to the idea that we all chase things that often too costly and many times lead us to nothingness. This is a symbolic video directed by our friend Bryan Eckardt. There are many depictions of giants that hold us captive while we search life for meaning. While searching roads and tunnels, actor Anthony finds a Bible that helps to open his mind to his purpose. “Road to Nowhere” is a ultra heavy and melodic modern track with low tuned slinky guitar riffs, ultra melodic melody hooks, complex drum rhythms, and layers of production that would be somewhat similar to the band Starset. There is also a huge guitar solo by our friend Chuck Wepner from the band FLAW.
