T-34/85 at AusArmourFest 2022. Soviet Tank.

Australian Armour and Artillery Museum outside of Cairns, QLD, Australia hosted AusArmourFest once again, giving visitors an opportunity to see armour in operation on their track. The festival ran from 26-28 August 2022. This footage was shot on Sunday 28-Aug-2022 and is the Soviet T-34/85 on static display at the museum. An upgraded variant on the T-34 that replaced the original gun with the 85mm M1939 anti-aircraft gun mounted in an all new turret, it entered serial production in February 1944. The T-34 platform was incredibly versatile, lending it's chassis to the T-34, along with other armoured vehicles such as the SU-85, SU-100, and SU-122 self propelled artillery.
