The basic plot: AFTER THE EVENTS OF “FRIEND IN NEED II“ The events of “When Fates Collide“ have altered the past (so Brunhilda is still alive) and Gabrielle meets up with Brunhilda, Beowulf and her Amazon tribe to bring back Xena's life with the powers of Shamanism. When Xena returns to the living world she has forgotten everything, and Brunhilda has trapped Gabrielle in her 'eternal flame'.
