Russia plays chicken with UK: Missile carriers deployed to Med to pressure British ship. RUSSIA has deployed a number of missile carriers to monitor the Royal Navy's HMS Queen Elizabeth off the country's coast. Moscow has posted a number of top-of-the-range military aircrafts to a base in Syria to monitor the trajectory of the UK's flagship aircraft carrier.
