I enjoyed building and driving this fully 3D-printed RC car in the last couple of months. Even the gears are fully printed in PLA, and they work smoothly (if I keep the power on a decent level). I found this fantastic project called Tarmo on Reddit. This is currently version four and the engineer is working on the fifth one. I was immediately impressed by the community around it. They have a ton of hacks and many people who are continuously helping each other. The car itself has a crazy torque. I had to limit the power to 25% to stop breaking the gears, and it still pushes like a horse. I made a couple of jumps, only breaking a few pieces. I'm glad it takes just a couple of hours to be on the streets again.
