Ballet dancing on the head & shoulders

apparently it was in the early 2000s that performances of ballet dancing on the head & shoulders by these 2 chinese dancers/acrobats were shown to the world. there was an interesting anecdote that happened in japan: when the 2 chinese acrobats asked for accompaniment, the japanese ballerinas insisted that they should have equal exposure time. yet once they witnessed this head & shoulder ballet dance during the rehearsal, they couldn't help but have tears trickled down their cheeks.
