'Movement' During my time living in Kulki (Cape Tribulation); the Daintree Rainforest during 2021/22, I was sat in my singular cabin and starting playing something which seemed, to me, different. It took some time for me to realise that it was because of my new environment in this incredible place. 'Movement' did not start as an intentional representation of where I was, and it seemed as though my guitar was the catalyst for the music of the forest before I even knew it myself. This song represents all that which I experienced as the greater whole of this unique paradise: the billions of life forms, stretching from the forest to the outer Great Barrier Reef. It represents the delicate balance between chaos and serenity; the peace to be found sat next to a river, aware of the all the life that is around making it's own movement through the forest. I had travelled for a number of years by the time that I stopped to live here and drew parallels between myself, taking a breath, unmoving for a while, sat amongst the trees, listening to the frantic yet meaningful movement of the rainforest. Enjoy 'Movement', my friends! James A huge thank you to Jack Webb who supplied so much footage from his own time exploring the Daintree, having captured so many favourite spots and gave them to support this project. This video wouldn't be what it is if not for the amazing aerial shots of the forest, ocean and for being patient filming so much guitar at so many different times of day. Big love Jack!
