A follow up to the excellent and very surprising “From the Sword the Sun Rose“ EP; released last year, Aufnorden presents here finally its debut full-length record in full force. This horde, hailing the olden days of steel, and worshipping the Norse mythos plays excellent, frosty but extremely engaging and catchy Epic Black Metal, in the old Goatmoon vein, but also resorting to infectious pop-ish and folky keyboard melodies brimming with medieval spirit, blood-pumping epic chants and excellent guitarwork very much influenced by Oi! and 70's Rock music, as well as 80's Power Metal and Pop music, as very present in the Honeymoon Suite cover. The last track is also a clear and definite nod to old Viking Metal, particularly early Enslaved, Digitally available via bandcamp. Released on ASRAR on LP and CD formats.
