Yeesh, talk about a mood change, this is a advert for the Guardian, but it opens up like some Disney knock-off Bambi sort of thing, seems rather cheery and harmless, except the cow is talking about where their body parts will go and all that, until the calve says “what about my testicles?”...erm.. I thought cows had utters right?, since when they did have bollocks?, anyways we then see a stereotypical bloke eating a pie while football is on.., okay, so what did that have to do with the actual ad?.., you get a free cow pie when you get a copy of the Guardian and cows balls is also pie as well?, what, what is it?!, okay, okay.., if I have to talk positives, for a TV advert the animation in the beginning is pretty decent, looks like something from a cartoon or something it looks good, I also like the music too and the reveal is kind of hilarious, but rather in a “complete tone change” way..., so yeah... I’m quite mixed on this ad, on one side it looks good by animation standards, on the other it looks a very basic and stereotypical football advert, I think this was also banned as well if I’m not wrong?, which is rather interesting seeing how a adorable calve said “testicles” on live TV.
