In the final corner it’s Taika Waititi, helmer of Thor: Love & Thunder, who’s also showcased everything from 4th wall-breaking vampires to the natural environment of the wilderpeople. Three heralded helmers, but only one will emerge victorious in this pit of destiny that makes Thor: Ragnarok look like a sandbox at a fast-food playland.
