Situation northwest of Syria: During the last days recent video footage shows that Syrian Army began the use of drones for attacking rebel positions along the frontlines of southern Idlib which proved to be successful, a strategy adapted from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in which the Wagner forces that moved to the west of the country seem to be related to this change. Since RuAF and SAA restarted the intensive bombardments over this region the number of militants have notably increased until the point that they have problems to admit it. Contrary to what we have seen in 2021 and 2022 these attacks are more precise and are focused in specific rebel fortress and positions previously monitored. Despite the ground offensive is far from being launched and more after the current situation of the Levant, the attack to Homs military college has proven to be a point of inflection that would allow governmental forces to reduce significantly the capabilities of the rebel and terrorist groups in the Greater Idlib.🇸🇾 Источник: Suriyakmaps
