Hi everyone! Here are some drills for a juicier more fluid camel. A camel is a body undulation that moves up and down your torso by expanding and contracting you abdominals. Being able to isolate the ribcage from the pelvis is key in finding your undulation. Warm Up 0:25 This video begins with Cat/Cow exercises to warm up the core as well as a roll down/roll up exercise to articulate each vertebrae in the spine and each level of your abdominal wall. Isolation drills 3:03 The second part of this video are some drills to isolate the ribcage from the pelvis. How to do the Camel 6:01 Here I explain how to smoothly connect the movement from the ribcage to the pelvis and back up. I like to imagine the movement kind of like an elevator moving up and down my spine in order to keep the motion more vertical, along my center line of gravity rather than moving too much forward and back.
