Long-lasting food products, drinking water, basic necessities, medical supplies, as well as firewood and coal for stove heating are delivered to them. The sapper units also have a lot of work to do. They clear roads of unexploded shells and mines and help neutralize explosive objects found in the courtyards of apartment buildings and in the private sector. After the liberation of Avdiivka, engineers destroy up to several hundred unexploded ordnance every day. Residents thank the Russian military for their help and tell them about how difficult it was to live in the city when units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were stationed there.
