Eric Draven's (Brandon Lee) mechanical slashed hand and forearm used in the 1994 thriller The Crow. This prop was made specially for the scene when Eric swings from the window in his destroyed apartment and slices his hands on broken glass, and since he is still discovering his immortal powers stares at his rapidly healing wounds. This incredible piece is made from a mould of Lee's arm using a foam core covered in latex and painted to match his skin tone, and is supported via a metal bar that runs down the centre and entirely exposed at the back. Also running through the arm and hand is a clear tube for pumping the blood, and four narrow metal wires each linked to a finger and ending in a loop, so that each finger could be manipulated by from out of shot making it that bit more realistic. Written in red pen at the elbow is “Brandon Lee“ which has run slightly over the years, and is bound at the base with silver tape with “Brandon Lee / The Crow“ written in green marker.
