A comedy adventure set in the 1930s, “Lucky Lady“ was directed by Stanley Donen and written by Gloria Katz & Willard Huyck. Cinematography by Oscar-winner Geoffrey Unsworth (Cabaret, 2001: A Space Oddysey, Tess). Starring Burt Reynolds, Gene Hackman, & Robbie Benson. The level of expectation for this film upon release (Christmas 1975) was off the chart. None of them were met. But I have a soft spot in my heart (or head) for this movie.
