Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene responded “Why don’t you f*** off?” when asked by the British journalist Emily Maitlis about her reported endorsement of a conspiracy theory blaming a Jewish space laser for wildfires in California. Greene made the remark to former BBC anchor Maitlis, who now hosts The News Agents podcast, at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, where she was celebrating wins by former US President Donald Trump in a number of state primaries on Super Tuesday, March 5. The encounter was recorded by Rory Symon, a producer with the podcast. In Symon’s video, Maitlis asks Greene a number of questions about Nikki Haley, Trump’s rival for the Republican presidential nomination, and about Trump’s presidential vice-presidential nominee. These Greene answers happily. However, when Maitlis asks “why so many people that support Donald Trump love conspiracy theories, including yourself,” Greene says it’s Maitlis who is the conspiracy theorist. “The left and the media spreads more conspiracy theories,” Greene says. Maitlis then asks: “What about Jewish space lasers?” to which Greene replies, “Why don’t you go talk about Jewish space lasers, and, really, why don’t you f*** off – how about that?” Become a Scottish Sun Subscriber and hit the bell to be the first to know Read The Scottish Sun: Like The Sun on Facebook: Follow The Sun on Twitter: #America # marjorieTaylorGreene #politics
