I made a DIY concrete floor lamp with LED lighting in memory of the Karma cat. Check out the Jackery Holiday Sale here: (or Amazon: ) This time I’m building an urban decay DIY concrete lamp. I’m mixing Karma’s ashes with the concrete so that the lamp serves as a tribute to him…something I’ll always remember him by. I built the concrete form from melamine, and used wet sand to create a void in the concrete for an urban decay look. I also welded a rebar frame from which is exposed between the two halves of the concrete lamp. I ran the wiring for the LED light bulb fixture through PVC pipe, then poured the concrete over the PVC, so that the wiring for the LED light would be hidden inside the lamp. To finish off the lamp, I used some basic woodworking techniques to build a walnut wood base for the lamp. // ARIAT WORK WORKWEAR Save 10% off your first Ariat order - My Ariat Favorites - Get you
