We are in 1985, checking out the 100 best games released for the ZX Spectrum 16k and 48k computers. This was the last year with a reasonable amount of releases for the 16k machine, but it was easy to get the 16k machine upgraded to 48k with a 32k RAM kit. Instead the 128k machine was released at the end of the year, and a few extended versions of games introducing the AY sound chip were released. The ZX Spectrum 128 was developed by Sinclair Research and Investrónica, and it was released in Spain (with keypad) before it was released in the UK (without keypad).
