Dead Or Alive 1 PS1 - play as Ayane

She is an unlockable playable character. ===== About Ayane ===== Ayane is one of the original and staple characters of DOA. Design-wise, her mid-length purple hair and the leaf headband has become a very distinct and recognizable aspect of her. Ayane is also pretty much synonymous with the colour purple. As the half-sister/cousin of Kasumi, she holds an important role in the game's story line. Gameplay-wise, she is somewhat similar to Kasumi in the earlier games, but she gradually became more different and unique as the series went on. She is also probably one of the most well-known “back turned“ characters in fighting games. ===== About PS1 Dead Or Alive 1 ===== DOA is a high-quality PS1 game with some very nice graphics for it's time. The game also ran in high-resolution on the PS1 hardware. With the stage backgrounds being 2D images, it meant that they could put more detail into the character models. The game plays most similar to Virtua Fighter and Fighting Vipers, but it is much faster. The “Danger Areas“ (which makes you bounce high if you land on it) and the counter button makes the game somewhat unique in it's own right.
