Epileptics get their pizza from Little Seizures. That our concept of “reality“ exists solely in our brain. If I cut my finger, the pain exists in my brain, but my brain creates a reality where I believe the pain is in my finger. We go about our day creating a world which exists solely in our minds which is not based on reality, but an extremely limited experience based on data which, for the most part, is ignored. We do not see all the colors, hear all the sounds, or experience anything beyond our immediate environment. And what we do get, we filter. We feel that matter is solid, even though we know it is mostly empty -- and then that feeling of solidness is something happening in our brains, NOT in our hands. We do this with every sense. Even our eyes do not fully receive information (where the optic nerve attaches), so our brain just guesses what should go there. It filters out more than it accepts.
