The flag of Scotland, the St Andrew's Cross or Scottish Saltire. St Andrews Day is the 30th November and is a public holiday in Scotland. Celebrations are held across the world in the Scottish diaspora in Commonwealth countries such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The St Andrews Cross is made up of a white cross, or saltire on a blue field. The flag is one of the three component flags of the British Union Jack. Traditionally the blue is a light blue, but darker shades can be seen to help with weathering. Please click SUBSCRIBE, LIKE and SHARE to support our work.
