I upgraded my Comet GP-3 to the Comet GP-9. Here I'll unbox and assemble the antenna step-by-step. If you notice, the packaging does say Comet GP-9M. The 'M' designator indicated, per Comet, a “male“ connector, but in reality this antenna has a SO-239 connector. It can also be purchased with the 'N' connector as well.
