Started this over a year ago (like spring of 2023?) n I was like hm why is this taking forever to finish, this video that is 5 minutes long and is fully coloured with backgrounds while I also got work n school. weird. afksdajlgh Honestly I have very little memory of AVOS so I re-read it just for this video haha; and despite the typical warrior cats subpar writing lol I ended up quite enjoying needletail’s character arc! A lot of purely selfish choices with some dire consequences (often only for others), until she finally makes the choice to ensure Violetpaw’s safety over her own. (cough spoilers for the amv:) Near the end i also added some slightly headcanon-y stuff extrapolating from Needletail’s time with the Riverclan prisoners hehe.. I think she did a lot of reflecting and regret when she saw how well they cared for each other; especially after they'd extend their compassion to her, one of Darktail’s Kin who helped drive out their clan, despite their imprisonment and hunger.
