The story shows an incendiary bomb being dropped by an 'enemy' plane near a harvesting site. A Land girl on fire watch duty gives the signal and the harvesters go into action with beaters and water chains. The local AFS (Auxiliary Fire Service) engine is quickly on the scene and by using water from an overgrown ditch quickly have the fire under control.
