In 2014 Ed-Franklin Gavua donated 70 pieces of his Blade Art to support social projects in Accra/Ghana - info/support: Gavua says about his Blade Art:“I discover this interesting expression of putting „words into action“ in the form of drawing with a piece of wood with black ink on paper in its raw state. Then uses the blade to highlight or define the feelings and the efforts of how the story should be told. The Blade Art is giving a vivid imagination of how we feel for eachother, by holding, sharing and caring, interacting in different ways. This medium of inner expression talks about what we see, the disappointment, hopes, promises and dreams and all that makes life well to be examine.(...) Its also good for an artist to develop and grow into the deeper realm of creativity, if only one can use his in-born aggression, then the trained mindful eye can see split-second images hidden from the normal sight. I believe art is a lie that makes you realize the truth.“
