These shots were taken on Friday before the 2016 Warbirds Over the Beach airshow. The Military Aviation Museum recently acquired this ME 109 to add to their incredible collection of WWI and WWII warbirds. It was reconditioned in Europe and shipped to the U.S. This was the first flight in the U.S. for an ME 109 (according to everyone I talked to at the event today). They started and flew her a second and third time as well before the day was over. Update: Helpful, clarifying information about the plane's designation or origin is welcome, but I'm not going to allow the comments to turn into a flame war over whose letters and numbers are most accurate. Post accordingly so as not to have your comments deleted.
