The eyes of the US political world are on New York, and Republicans and Democratic presidential contenders have been campaigning hard. With hundreds of delegates up for grabs between the two parties, the vote is important for front-runner Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, who want to pull away from their rivals. But it's not the biggest state up for grabs this election, nor will it clinch a party nomination for any of the candidates. So why does it matter? The BBC's Anthony Zurcher takes a look. Video by
