Snake Island Romanian newsreel from the 1930s (it was part of Romania back then). General presentation of the geographical features,its main attraction was the lighthouse, which played a important role in ensuring navigational safety it being one of the few in the Black Sea and located just off the mouths/coast of the Danube Delta. Of note is the ingenuous warning system ,used in foggy conditions , that notified ships of dangers using blank grenades.
