Engineer Mira spoke about the concept of a general planetary vehicle, the launch platform of which will be located, among other things, in the oceanic areas of the equator. The video report was shown at the VI International Scientific and Technical Conference “Rocket-less industrialization of near space: problems, ideas, projects.” The general planetary vehicle (GVT) is a technological concept of engineer Anatoly Yunitsky, which involves the creation of a large-scale geospace aircraft for rocket-free exploration of near space. Thanks to this innovation, industrial enterprises will be brought into low-Earth orbit, while cargo and passenger transportation will ensure the delivery of products and service personnel. The implementation of a takeoff and landing complex for GPV requires the construction of an equatorial overpass covering the planet. Its length will be more than 40,000 km. At the same time, most of the overpass will be built in oceanic zones. Learn more about the technology in the video. Solving the global task of preserving the planet’s biosphere 00:45 Bringing industrial enterprises into space. Passenger and cargo transportation from near space to Earth 01:00 A unique structure is required for implementation. An equatorial overpass spanning the planet and combined with transport communications, energy and information systems. Support for OTS. Even distribution of passengers and cargo 02:05 Strict compliance with safety and efficiency standards 02:35 Areas of the ocean more than 100 meters deep. Use of floating supports 03:00 Strict requirements for the global flatness of the GPV runway 03:30 The project goes far beyond conventional flights to space and back. 03:45 Equatorial linear city of cluster type. Equatorial transport communications UST which have already been developed by the Belarusian company UST. 04:35 Delivery of products produced in space. 04:45 GPV will allow for global industrial exploration of space and provide access to its unlimited resources. 05:00 Let us consider in detail the construction of the GPV overpass. In ocean areas. 05:15 GPV is designed for the conditions inherent in the equatorial plane of the planet. 05:40 Along the route of existing maritime logistics corridors, the overpass should not interfere with the movement of the largest ships. 06:40 To ensure the passage of the tallest and widest types of vessels, the height of the surface part of the supports has been increased to 90 meters. The width of the spans will be increased to 400 meters. 07:25 Ensuring the stability of the runway during operation regardless of wind and ocean currents. 08:30 The GTS overpass is not flooded. Emergency residential modules and workshops for living. 09:35 Possibility of landing modules at speeds up to 250 km/h. 09:50 Possibility of maneuvering the GPV in the air. 10:10 Horizontal movement laterally from the equator up to 1000 km. For example, if equatorial currents still carry part of the takeoff and landing complex away from the design line even by several kilometers. In any direction from the equator, this will not affect the normal functioning of the GPV. 11:10 The overpass has 2 transport complexes. Up to 200 km/h. Up to 600 km/h. 12:10 Passenger stations and cargo terminals on average every 1 km. High-speed stations every 100 km. Pedestrian paths along the entire complex with the possibility of moving small equipment. 13:25 After optimization, this complex oceanic equatorial complex turned out to be more than 2 times cheaper than a much simpler solution - the Dubai land monorail. 13:55 The creation of a floating GPV take-off and landing overpass in ocean areas with an average depth of 4000 meters will cost 21,000,000 USD/km 14:05 The cost of the equatorial transport and infrastructure network UNET combined in ocean areas with the floating take-off and landing overpass of the GPV will be 14,000,000 USD/km 14:20 Construction of residential and industrial infrastructure will cost 5,000,000 USD/km 14:40 The total cost of the oceanic section of the GPV takeoff and landing complex will be 40,000,000 USD/km 14:50 The proposed solutions can also be applied on land when creating overpass-type transport and infrastructure corridors in linear cities, including the equatorial linear city.
