Full title reads: “Glendale, . It flies itself! Pilot - in daring test - demonstrates aviation’s latest wonder.“ Glendale, Arizona or California, United States of America. Shots of a strange looking ’plane. It is a propellor driven monoplane, but has a strange set of secondary wings which flap up and down. These move up and down. Stabilisers on the wings move side to side. Along the side is painted its name ’Self Flyer’. C/U stabilisers coming down from the wing, which according to the voiceover help to keep the plane level. The pilot climbs into the plane. The plane takes off. Great shots from inside the cabin as the pilot climbs out. Aerial view of the plane showing the pilot standing on the wing. Shot inside the cabin, the pilot is leaning in through the door and keeping an eye on the stick which appears to be keeping the plane fairly level. The pilot climbs back in to his seat.
