This wrap, using 16 inches of 18 gauge frame wire is good for stones of 6mm to 10mm around and up to 4 to 5mm thick. 16 inches will give you plenty of wire to complete the pendant and use the scraps to make jump rings if you need to. I give a long wire length because we are making tight bends and having extra length will make it easier to hold onto and give leverage for the bends. If you are experienced and used to working tight curves or if your stone is the smaller 6mm size, feel free to start with 13 inches. The final pendant in this video, using a 6mm round cabochon is 1 inch in length x .5 inches wide. Adding jump rings and a bead drop, the whole thing is 2 inches long.
