Reba Meyers sits down at Electric Company in Akron, Ohio to show us how she uses expression control with her favorite EQD pedals. This is a sneak peek of unreleased Code Orange songs you won't hear anywhere else! In this 20-minute guitar improvisation, Reba takes vocals from Code Orange songs and reimagines them over an improvised bed of music. Some new songs she performs include “But A Dream, “Circle Through”, and “Mirror” from the upcoming Code Orange album “The Above” (out Sept. 29th, Blue Grape Music). Reba primarily showcases expression control with the Aurelius Chorus (tied to the rate) as well as with the Avalanche Run and Astral Destiny. She also experiments with the Rainbow Machine and Data Corrupter heavily on her drum tracks, creating super saturated and distorted tones. “I was inspired by the expression elements of their pedals. I recently got my hands on the Aurelius, and that really started this off for me, showcasing all the elements and the dynamics of the pedals and how far you can go”. Don't forget to pre-save the new Code Orange album, “The Above”, out September 29th.
