Depeche Mode - 1997-05-16 - Shrine Exposition Hall, Los Angeles, CA, USA Notes: Pro-shot footage of the second of two “Ultra Parties“. Single-cam footage, with raw soundboard audio as the primary audio track, and a soundboard / audience recording matrix audio track is available as the second audio track, thanks to bias. This is considerably better video quality than the previous DVD copy as there isn't VHS in the lineage. MiniDV video is still lossy, though, but I'll take a digital copy over analog in this case. The primary audio track (raw soundboard) is great quality and lossless; it may sound a little duller than previously available copies, but those received EQ and other tweaks, whereas this is the raw audio, unmodified other than normalization. To avoid further potential video quality loss, the video is not transcoded and remains in the original DV video codec.
