Ray Smith with “That's All Right“ recorded from the original South African late era 78 rpm shellac single on Ridge TA 302. Released in South Africa in 1959, “That's All Right“ B-side to “Rockin' Little Angel“, was originally released in the US in August 1959 on Judd with “Rockin' Little Angel“ peaking at Nr. 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart. Both sides were recorded in August 1959 at RCA Victor Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with Ray Smith on lead vocals, Chet Atkins and Grady Martin on guitars, Bob Moore on bass, Floyd Cramer on piano. Vocal chorus by The Jordanaires. Words and music by Gerald Nelson and Fred Burch. The A-side, “Rockin' Little Angel“, is available here: Musical style: Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues.
