If you like this song, you can listen to the longer version on my album By the Fire: And here is a special orchestral version: About ILMATAR - I tried to make a song without any guitar, piano, drums or some computer plugins. Just by using a variety of awkward, archaic and time-forgotten ethnic instruments, which are no longer popular. That was the goal. And for me, who grew up on the sound of electric guitars and synths, it was a challenge :) How did it end up, see for yourself. :) Used instruments: jouhikko (bowed lyre / tagelharpa), hurdy gurdy (niněra), irish lyre harp, irish bouzouki, low whistle, tin whistle, tibetan singing bowl, peruvian maracas, kalimba, jews harp (brumle). ...and Ilmatar was a virgin spirit of the air in the Finnish national epic Kalevala :) ______________ FOLLOW me: ▶️ Instagram - ▶️ Facebook - ▶️ Twitter - ▶️ YouTube - ______________ #tagelharpa #hurdygurdy #irishlyre
