Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian met with rabbis from the anti-Zionist Jewish group Neturei Karta during an interfaith meeting in New York on September 24, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss addressed the president, highlighting the friendship of the Islamic Republic toward Jews in Iran and abroad. He expressed gratitude to Iran for its clear distinction between Judaism—a divine religion—and Zionism, a criminal entity. Rabbi Weiss concluded with blessings for the president and the people of Iran.
