Hello everyone. Do the H2O molecules (vapor) become detached as H2O from their whole under the effect of heat (evaporation) ?. My answer is no, why. Water molecules are decomposed by Radiolysis into H2 and O . this hydrogen burns in the oxygen in the air and gives birth to water molecules called vapor or water in the gaseous state. Heat is an accelerator of this process. and not the trigger. hv H2O liquid = H2↗ O↗, then H2 O = H2O vapor. Thank you so much.
