Downing Street has confirmed an emergency response meeting will be held on Monday after more than 150 arrests followed a weekend of violent disorder in towns and cities across the UK. It comes after Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer condemned an attack on a hotel housing asylum seekers in Rotherham, vowing that those involved in the unrest will face “the full force of the law.“ Police battled violent scenes in Rotherham, Middlesbrough, Bolton, and other parts of the UK on Sunday, as tensions continue to rise. The Cobra meeting, named after the Cabinet Office Briefing Room A on Whitehall, will address the escalating violence that began with the tragic stabbing of three young girls in Southport last week. This emergency committee brings together ministers, civil servants, police, intelligence officers, and other key figures to coordinate the government's response. Mike Graham speaks with former deputy leader of Reform UK, Ben Habib. #news #breakingnews #uk
