Punjab is a region in South Asia, divided into two parts West Punjab (Pakistan) and East Punjab (India). Punjabi music has a diverse style of music, ranging from folk and Sufi to classical. The rich culture, heritage, traditions, love, and festivals of Punjab are always source for Punjabi music. The age-old music industry gave thousands of artists, who serve the language and spread Punjabi music throughout the world. Many legends gave their lives to this industry. These days the new bread is going away from the old, classical, and purest form of music, and some new singers, writers, music directors are making disgrace to the Punjabi language by diluting it with others and changing the way of presentation.
