Before the Pandemic, the Vancouver Downtown Eastside had faced many problems, including drug use, crime, poverty, homelessness, mental illness, vandalism and other problems. These problems have affected people in this area for many decades. Since the Pandemic, the situation has gotten much worse. Recently, more homeless people are living in an area where businesses are located. Tell me what you think about the problems in the Downtown Eastside. Why is it happening? Who is responsible?
