Most laptops have slightly different measurements, so in this video we show you how to measure your specific laptop (we use a Macbook Air) to make a custom, one-of-a-kind leather laptop case that perfectly fits your laptop. We're using a new leather from Hermann Oak called Expedition 1881, a VERY cool water resistant leather that is 100% veg tan and treated with Hermann Oak's “Oak Guard“ technology in the tanning process. This leather is a bit soft like a milled veg tan, and super supple -- it's really a treat to work with for hand sewing and would be perfect for a medium weight leather sewing machine :)
