This is banjo my arrangement of Joe Hisaishi's piece “Bygone Days' from Hayao Miyazaki's 1992 film Porco Rosso. It is my favorite (and I think most underrated) Studio Ghibli film. The film is set in the Adriatic in 1929, and revolves around the life of an Italian sea pilot who is living in a state of depression after having fought in Wold War I. He has been cursed with having the face of a pig, thus the nickname “Porco.“ I highly recommend watching the film if you haven't seen it.
