Once the stuff of dystopian sci-fi novels, Facial Recognition technology is becoming increasingly common around the world. And while most of us now expect such technology to be used in places like China, where it has been rolled out to catch everyone from political dissidents to jaywalkers. Worrying reports this week revealed that it has been tested in Canada with little to no public disclosure by the Government. But how worried should we be?
