In about 10 years we will lose all the veterans of the Second World War and members of the resistance movement, and in 15 years - the children of that war, who saw and remmember everything with their own eyes. Who can, write here pls!! your family stories, about your great-grandparents, great-grandmothers, those who took part in the war or lived during the occupation. I will be glad to read it all. My great-grandmother's sister, now 96 years old, is now on the verge of death, and she also took part in the resistance movement. She is the last witness in my family who still remembers those terrible times Thanks to her I heard also about story of my grandfather, a soviet ukrainian officier (Toporenko Oleksandr), who escaped from a German POW camp and joined the resistance movement...
