Due to a lack of storms lately, we reminisced all the epic stormchases we enjoyed in the last couple of years. Howling winds, enormous waves, stay-at-home warnings from the weather service: We only get a handfull of these days in a year. This also makes it something special to go out and kite in these conditions. Big air kiteboarding has taken a big leap recently, becoming more and more about the tech side of things. The level and progression is crazy. But during these hardcore gusting days we like to go back to the basic banging kiteloops that started this whole big air craze. Just speeding out, spotting mushy kickers and janking the kite round the window. Basic survival mode! This lack of recent storms made us wonder. How would a perfect storm look like? So we decided to create our own. Starting with a classic Dutch stormchase up to the sickest kitecomp we have seen yet; @coldhawaiigamesandmore.
