Errichted in den 1950er Jahren (einige Quellen nennen die 1930er Jahre) und aufgegeben 2008, da das Leuchtfeuer die technischen Anforderungen nicht mehr erfüllte, ist der Leuchtturm laut regionaler Tageszeitung der meistbesuchte Lost Place der Stadt. Vermutlich nicht weil das Bauwerk so interessant ist, sondern eher, weil es dort quasi alternativlos ist. Built in the 1950s (some sources mention the 1930s) and abandoned in 2008 because the beacon no longer met technical requirements, the lighthouse is, according to the regional daily newspaper, the most visited lost place in the city.
