Severe drought threatens India's new Delhi Huge water tankers were drafted in to help New Delhi residents survive the scorching temperatures, with locals claiming it only comes four time a week - leaving residents to fight for what is left, questioning government claims it is supplying enough water. With temperatures surpassing 45°C (113°F), the waters of the Yamuna River have reportedly dropped dramatically to their lowest levels in almost 60 years. The crisis has also been exacerbated by power failures at local treatment plants. Source: RT News
