Buy/Stream : Angelos has risen through his local scene to now be an internationally renowned talent who has collaborated with the likes of Black Coffee on his Grammy-winning 2021 album, has landed regularly on Nic Fanciuli's imprint Saved, Armada, Higher Ground and long-time collaborator King Street, and serves up quarterly DJ mixes for Spotify and Apple Music. His joyous and lushsound has landed him a DJ residency at Blue Marlin Ibiza as well as gigs all over the world. He shows his meticulous craft here with 'Nocturnal Dance,' which is deep, but edgy thanks to the gritty synth stabs. A smooth vocal brings the soul but also a hint of menace as the Afro drums march onwards. 'Neon Nights' is another sublime soundscape with well-designed drums and a more intense and layered feel. The distant vocals ring out above serene synths and percussive details add extra bite as the groove grows. It's a melodic masterclass to hypnotise the floor. These are two more immersive tracks from the always-evolving Angelos.
