Transcription is based mainly on the Getz/Gilberto recording with some minor additions. The intro rhythmic phrases (1432 and 4442) were played by João Gilberto on his first studio recording of Doralice on album O Amor, o Sorriso e a Flor. The end is based on a phrase played by João Gilberto in most live recordings from later dates. Finally the lyrics are synchronized with the rhythm based on Anjos do Inferno recording from 1945. The lesson shows the usage of advanced bossa nova phrase 1232. All beats are played with staccato except the beat 3 from 2nd measure. This phrase may be regarded as a variation of second basic bossa nova phrase (1332), otherwise played through most of this recording, with just one beat dropped, that is beat 7 from the first measure.
